Millie's YardSales ("the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.
When you create an account, we collect your email address, first name, last name, and profile picture through our authentication provider (WorkOS). This information is used to identify your account and personalize your experience.
With your permission, the App accesses your device's location to:
Your last known location is stored on our servers to provide distance-based features. You can revoke location access at any time in your device's Settings. Note that previously stored location data will remain in our database until you request its deletion.
Only while you are using the App. When the App is open on your screen, or while Millie is listening in driver mode, the App records where your phone goes so it can show you the route you drove, the sales you stopped at, your time per stop, miles driven, and (with your permission) your step count from your phone's motion sensor. The App never collects location in the background when it is closed, and it never asks for "Always" location access.
When you send feedback from More › Send feedback, or ask Millie to pass feedback along, we store your words and any screenshot you attach with your account so we can follow up and improve the App. Feedback is deleted with your account.
Millie keeps short notes and transcripts from your voice sessions so she can pick up where you left off. These are tied to your account, never shared, and you can review and delete them from your Profile at any time.
We store data you create within the App, including:
With your permission, the App may access your camera or photo library to scan yard sale flyers or create listing photos. Images are sent to Google's Gemini AI service for analysis and may also be stored on our servers as part of your listings.
When you create an account, email preferences for welcome messages, notifications, and nearby yard sale alerts are enabled by default. You can disable any of these in your profile settings at any time.
The App includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK so we can tell whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram result in installs. The SDK sends Meta an install event, when you open the App, and basic device details such as device model, operating system version, App version, and IP address. We do not send Meta your name, email address, location, or anything you do inside the App. We do not use Apple's advertising identifier and the App does not ask for permission to track you; install attribution uses Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork. Meta's use of this data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.
The App uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
Your data is stored securely using Convex's cloud infrastructure. Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device using browser storage. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active, including your profile information, saved sales, routes, listings, feedback, Millie's notes, and email history. Your Day trails are deleted after 7 days. You can delete your account and all associated data from Profile inside the App, or by contacting us at the email below.
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
