Some cities need a permit or limit sales per year. We show your city's rule when you set up your sale. Many cities give one permit for a whole neighborhood sale.
Questions
Do I need my HOA's permission?
If your neighborhood has an HOA, yes. You'll give us your HOA contact, and your sale goes public once they confirm. No HOA? You can run it yourself as a resident.
What about city permits?
Some cities need a permit or limit sales per year. We show your city's rule when you set up your sale. Many cities give one permit for a whole neighborhood sale.
Can our HOA run the sale on Millie's?
Yes. Set the sale up in one evening, send one link, and let your neighbors do the rest. No inbox full of addresses. Your organized sale, with your flyers, QR code and "Presented by", goes live only once your HOA or city confirms.
Can our HOA charge homes to be in the sale?
Yes, if you charge households to be in your sale. Each household registers and pays your fee in the app, plus a $2.50 processing fee per address, and your full fee goes straight to your bank account. If your sale is free for sellers, or you collect fees yourself, you pay only the platform fee. (Coming soon.)
Can our HOA or city pay by invoice?
Yes. Email [email protected] with your sale and who should receive the invoice.
